How to Avoid Bloopers: Test Your Site
How many times have you clicked a link that doesn’t go anywhere? Or noticed a strange computer-jargon message on a web page? Or discovered that the site that worked well when you used Internet Explorer didn’t after you switched to Mozilla Firefox?
These are the kind of bloopers that thorough testing is designed to prevent. The kind of bloopers that convince your visitors that you are not so professional after all. The kind that might drive them out of your site, onto the site of your competitor.

We test it on a variety of browsers:

We also test it on several screen resolutions:
- 1024 x 768
- 1920 x 1200
We test:
- that the site looks good in all the major browsers
- that all the links go where they should
- that the site looks good whether the browser window is large or small
- that the visitor can resize the text to suit themselves using available browser options
- that the page communicates meaningful information even if the visitor has images turned off in their browser (a feature of Opera) or is blind and using a text reading program
