Sewing Saturday!!
Coming on October 14th!!
You can spend the day catching up on your sewing. Chris will be on hand to
assist anyone with their creations, and... she's bringing lunch! There will
be no charge for those participating in the 5 part Beginner series and only
$15 for those who wish to drop in.
Did you know? What exactly is a Fat Quarter?
A Fat Quarter is made by cutting
a ½ metre of fabric in half, lengthwise. So, instead of a strip of fabric
that is ¼ m by the width of the fabric, you have a piece that is ½ m by half
the width of the fabric (approx. 19 ½” x 22”). Here are some great pattern
ideas for using up Fat Quarters: Yellow Brick Road, Turning Twenty, Turning
Twenty Again, and Convergence. See any of us for more ideas!
Coming soon!!
The 2007 Thimbleberries Club information has now arrived!
"House and Garden" is the theme for this year, and we're quite
excited about the whole program. The fabrics and the projects look great, and
there has been positive feedback from our current club members. Please stop by
to get the details for our Thimbleberries Club 2007.
Classes
We still have a number of classes with space available. Here
is a listing of titles and dates. If there is something that catches your eye, please pick up a
complete listing.
Register early to avoid disappointment!
If a class interests you, but the date or time is inconvenient,
let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. If you're from out
of town, and would love to take a class, but don't have your equipment here,
we have tools and machines available for you to use. If there is something you'd
like to learn, please let us know. All ideas for future classes are welcome...
we want to offer what you want to learn!
Stash Club Information
We have changed our Stash Club program! Stash Club rewards you, as a thank you for your business!
Effective September 1, 2006, we changed to the "punch card" system. Whenever you reach
$200 spent on ALL items, regular priced or on sale, (class fees, gift certificate purchases
and all taxes excluded) you will receive a $20 credit. Please ensure that you fill out
your new Stash Card the next time you're in the store. We will keep them here, so whether
we see you once a week, or once a year, your card will be waiting for you on your next visit!
